Anyway, this update is a return to the main story of Book 5 as we go back to Omashu. No more interruptions - the rest of this book will continue as per usual, going through to mid-January!

I also decided to try something new today. This would have been another one of those really long chapters - you know, the ones that I have to post a preview for and then link you to either Fanfiction.net or SkyeHawke in order for you to get the entire thing. This not only halves the chapter's length, but it keeps things short enough so that you aren't facing such a daunting task. One problem with the story is that the chapters are really long, like a novel - Sio described it as "something you read when you're curled up by the fire." This is a step towards boosting readership, so give me some feedback.

Chapter 3, Part 2 will go up January 6th! Enjoy the last couple days of 2009. :D
